The Polar S810i

The Polar S810 is a tool intended for those who need exacting information
and features like relaxation rate and RR heart rate for safe and controlled
training regimes. Heart rate monitoring functions include the level
of relaxation needed in order to counteract the stress levels.
Independent timers are available when needed and automatic guidance
is offered through routines. In addition to this, the monitor has
programmable exercise profiles and is compatible with separate interfaces.
Information may be recorded and stored for long periods and memory
control ensures you never miss a routine. Perfect accuracy ensures
progressive and safe results, fast. An invaluable asset for any coach
or scientific study group. The monitor may also be mounted on a bike
to track cycling performance with the optional bike mount.

more advanced version of the S610i. The main differences are the
ability to measure and store heart beat to heart beat, not just
a sample of HR every 5 seconds (as the S610i does). Also, there
is more flexibility within the exercise sets with 6 distinct segments
and not just 3, like the S610i. This means you can pre-programme
6 x phases (each with it's own intervals and recoveries), eg. 1
x 10mins in HR zone 1, 4 x 3 mins in HR zone 2, 2 x 2 mins in HR
zone 3, 1 x 10 mins in HR zone 4 and finally 4 x 2 mins in HR zone
5. Each interval may have either a time based or HR based recovery.
The
watch can store 10 of these exercise sets within it's own memory,
and the user can store unlimited files within the software.
You
may store an unlimited number of these "sessions" or "exercise
sets" in your PC software and file them against specific users.
You may store 8 in the watch at any given time, allowing you to
choose the "exercise set" that suits your requirements.
